The Women in Architecture group provides a forum for discussion regarding issues and concerns of women in Architecture. The group strives to learn more about the achievements of other female architects, to become aware of the difficulties women have encountered in architectural practice, and to gain insight from their successes. Members also engage in readings and discussions on Architecture, and they meet with teenage girls in the community to advise of careers in Architecture. The student chapter maintains a strong connection with the organization of Chicago Women in Architecture.
