INDEPENDENT STUDY
Independent Study – ARCH401 (undergrad) & ARCH 597 (grad): A less structured study opportunity specifically provided for students who want to pursue an educational experience that is not available within the School’s formal course and seminar offerings. Independent study courses are initiated by a student who should use the ARCH401/597 form to define and describe their independent study course . Once a student has completed this form, they should identify a faculty member who is willing to serve as the instructor to meet with and mentor the student. Have that faculty member review and approve the form then submit to the School’s Undergrad office for ARCH 401 and the Grad office for ARCH 597 for review and approval.
Forms are due to either the graduate and undergraduate office
for review by the day before the deadline to add an UG semester
course or a GRAD semester course via Student Self-Service.
