Architecture Computing: Staff & Hours
Staff
The School of Architecture employs 2.0 full time network administrators
who are responsible for the overall functioning of the School's
computer infrastructure. They are directly responsible for the
physical network (i.e. network wiring and hardware) in the Architecture
Building, Temple Buell Hall, Flagg Hall, Art East Annex Studio 1, and the Building
Research Council. In addition, they maintain the centralized network
services used by the School (file, mail, and web servers, for
example) as well as the desktop computers for the administrative
staff of the School.
Working with the network administrators are a number of student
tech support employees, who are tasked with troubleshooting problems
that arise on faculty and student machines. These students also
provide support for the shared equipment that Architecture students
and faculty can check out, as well as limited support for activities
in Plym Auditorium.
So, let's meet our intrepid team!
