Archvision Image Library

The School has subscribed to the Archivision image library.  The library is accessible through a web browser, but it is recommended that you download and install the Luna Insight client software for enhanced functionality.  You will be required to login using the given username and password combination for both methods.

Faculty can obtain their password here:  faculty_password
Students can obtain their password here: student_password

Faculty have permission to make changes to both the Faculty and Student shares, or folders.  Students can only make changes to the Student share, but are able to view the Faculty share.

Access Method 1:  Using your web browser

To access the database with your web browser use the following link (Microsoft IE, Mozilla Firefox and OSX Safari are supported.)  Enter the username and password given.

Access Method 2:  Using the Insight Client Software
Installation Instructions:

1. Use the appropriate link below to access the client software:
1. Windows: Windows Luna Insight Client v5.6
2. Mac OSX:  Mac OSX Luna Insight Client v5.6

1. Select Run (or save the .exe or zip file to your computer and double-click it to start the installation)

The file should download and launch.

 

1. Click Run if a Security Warning box appears.

1. Click Next to start the installation.

 

 

 

 

1. IMPORTANT – Click on the Advanced button so that Advanced is highlighted.  Click Next to continue.

1. You can leave the default installation folder as is, or you can change it.  Click Next to continue.

1. Again, you can leave the default choice for Shortcut Folder.  Click Next to continue.

1. IMPORTANT – change the User Manager Address to: archivision.lunaimaging.com

1. You can leave the default folder selected or specify a custom directory for processing media files.  Click Next to continue.

1. Leave the default choice selected for the Upgrade Check.

1.  Review the Pre-Installation Summary and click Install to begin the installation.

1. The software will install.

1. Installation is complete.  Click Done to close the window.

1. Locate the program under your programs/application menu: Luna Imaging - Insight 5.6
2. Enter the username and password and click logon.

1. Select the Archivision Digital Research Library (Base-2) and click the select button.

1. The application should open as below:
